Welcome back to another edition of Life at Ward's. The office is fully functional again and we are back on the catering equipment selling wagon with a vengeance. The phones have been a bit quiet for the last three days, or at least there haven't been as many sales as we would usually make.
However service calls still come rolling in thick and fast. Delivery companies dropping DF66 fryers and driving forklifts through multidecks have been two of the more serious problems. Malfunctioning ice machines and ovens have also reared their ugly heads as have missing glass shelves for serve over counters and faulty gas griddles.
We here at Ward's pride ourselves on our after sales service. Even though we offer some of the most competitive prices on the internet for catering and refrigerated equipment we also have professional gas fitters, plumbers, electrical engineers, delivery drivers and installation tehnicians. These staff members only operate in approximately a 50 mile radius of out York based warehouse, showroom and office.
However if you are further afield and have purchased equipment from us which suffers a fault our close relationships with our suppliers and manufacturers means that we can usually get an engineer to a faulty piece of equipment within 48 hours.
