New Year News

It's a new year, and this is what we've been doing.

2012 has seen some changes to the Ward's Catering website. The knife set offer which we ran for Christmas has proved so popular that we're continuing it until such time as we find something better to do. It's no longer a Christmas promotion, but it's still a promotion. More about in the next news post.

Business has been brisk since Christmas, lots of interesting orders and enquiries, (especially medical and pharmaceutical refrigeration). I was involved in a classic Ward's install yesterday delivering a large Foster double door freezer down a flight of stairs into the basement of a Grade 2 listed building stocked full of documents dating back to 1710. Needless to say we took extra special care.

The install involved stripping the freezer down almost to its component parts to get it around a return in the stairwell. Made it lighter to carry though. We here are Ward's are always willing to try to go above an beyond the call of duty to ensure customer satisfaction. All we ask in return is the occasional cup of tea for our delivery teams.

Our C.A.D. (Computer Aided Design) artists have also been busy beavers since we came back to work after the festive season. Our sales team can't seem to help generating a lot of local scheme-work and all of these schemes require professional and accurate drawings producing for the customers and install crews. Our designers and C.A.D. artists work closely with our customers to ensure accuracy and the customers benefit by being able to visualize their kitchens exactly as they will be once our mans in vans have delivered, installed and tidied up.

This is why customers come back to Ward's again and again. They build a successful catering business helped in a small way by using our equipment and expertise and then they move on to another, bigger, better business and their first call is to us here at Ward's Catering. We develop good working relationships and we ALWAYS strive for customer satisfaction. We are Ward's and we are proud of what we do... AND we give away funky-looking knife sets!
