We here are Ward's Catering pride ourselves on our prompt and efficient service. We have a large warehouse and showroom chock full of stock. If you were to throw a cat across our premises you would be as likely to hit a Parry Bain Marie as you would a Lincat Water Boiler or a packet of toilet roll.
You may also hit Mr G and make him fall over, which would be fine. So when a customer calls us on our freephone number and asks if we have a piece of equipment in stock and how soon we can get it to them we are generally pretty accurate.
I had a customer, a highly valued repeat customer from Old London Town call me a few weeks ago to order a U904 Flat Pack Sink and a CWBHANDI hand wash basin as well as a Mechline Pre-Rinse Spray. It absolutely positively had to be there by Thursday 19th November. We therefore sent it with our courier on an overnight service on Wednesday 18th. It did not arrive. It also did not arrive on Friday 20th. The man called me back and was very pleasant but obviouly concerned.
We, being Ward's, being dedicated to customer satidsaction at any cost, quickly started making phone calls. There was nothing our couriers could do. It would be Monday for delivery. Again committed to customer service I immediately rang a London Courier company and had it collected from the depot and delivered in time for the plumber to connect it up. We are Ward's. This is what we do.
